Once a year downtown Seattle gets covered in sand and sand sculptures are created.

Olympic Sculpture Park - April 8 2007

I went to see the Olympic Sculpture Park shortly after it opened to the public.  The waterfront location is really nice which it makes it a pleasant place to stroll around and appreciate the art.

Pike Place Market

Pike Place Market is probably Seattle’s second most popular attraction (after the Space Needle).  Every weekend it’s packed with people admiring the fresh fish, fruits, vegetables and crafts.
